Annual Events

There's always something happening on the island, especially during the summer months when the island seems to be bursting at the seams with visitors and excitement. Whether it's fireworks, fairs, festivals, road races, concerts, or fishing tournaments, you are bound to find something of interest. And the events don't end at the conclusion of Columbus Day weekend. Edgartown celebrates an old-fashioned Christmas with a host of festivities, and there's even a First Night event on the first night of the new year.
